Welcome to the Bromley by Bow Health Partnership. We have been working in this part of London for over 25 years. We originally started out life in a small lock-up shop in Whitehorse Lane with only a few patients and a surgery with an outside toilet!
Over the years we have grown and now we run three surgeries – Bromley by Bow, XX Place and St Andrews, which is also a Walk in Centre. Between the three surgeries we work with around 27,000 patients.
We have been shaped by the communities we work with and have developed a range of initiatives and ways of working which take account of the economic and social inequalities many of our neighbourhoods experience. We operate according to a clear set of Values, Mission and Vision which you can read here.
We are committed to working in partnership with all our patients. We welcome your views, value your feedback and invite your participation so that, together, we can improve the health of individuals and communities.
We hope that you find the information on this website to be useful. Please take the opportunity to use the resources contained here. They can help you to understand your health and give you the confidence to improve your wellbeing.
We believe that, as patients, we are all experts in our own health. So
First – self-care. Looking after ourselves, being confident about our health choices
Second – self-care. Finding resources to help ourselves. Check out the online resources on this website for checking symptoms and managing when we are unwell
Third – online help. Use our online consultation tool for help and advice
Fourth – call. If you are still unsure, just call one of our Patient Assistants to seek further advice.
Fifth – come in. Only come in when you really need to. Remember that most times we can look after ourselves.
We would welcome any suggestions you have about how to improve the information we have here.
Just let us know.
